Reese Towpower Standard Hitch Ball is cold forged, chromed steel coated for superior strength. Engineered to meet all VESC (Vehicle Equipment Safety Commission) regulation V-5 safety requirements. When installing hitch balls, torgue all 3/4 inches shank diameter balls to 160 feet pounds., 1 inch shank diameter balls to 250 feet pounds., and 1-1/4 inches shank diameter balls to 450 feet pounds.
